Two of my Favorite Companies for Baby Items

When I had my youngest son over four years ago, I found two of my favorite companies for baby items that I just loved! They are worth checking out if you have just had a baby or are expecting a baby sometime soon.

Lou Lou & Company

I LOVE the swaddle blankets from Lou Lou and Company! I honestly don’t remember how I found them, but I bought a blanket for Hunter for when he came out of the NICU. It is the perfect green swaddle blanket that I used for his newborn session. I felt like the color went with his name and the color scheme I was loving at the time.

As Hunter grew he got very attached to that particular blanket, it became his blankie. We are currently on his second one like this in the same color. They hold up very well to lots of love, snuggles and hugs!

I also love that this company was started by a Labor and Delivery/NICU nurse. The way these blankets swaddle babies was important to the founder. Being a NICU mama myself, this background of Lou Lou is near and dear to my heart.

The white blanket in the image above is from Lou Lou, and I bring it to newborn sessions. Be sure to check out the other products they sell as well, like knotted gowns, newborn hats, rompers, and so much more!

Wildbird

Wildbird has a beautiful selection of many different types of carriers. For my first babies, I had a wrap carrier from another company and it worked well, but when Hunter came along I wanted top try a sling carrier. I loved it! It was easier to get him into it and he seemed to really enjoy it! The one I purchased was the Sparrow Linen Sling with gold rings.

I was a bit sentimental to get rid of my wrap when he got too old for it. One of my good friend’s from church bought it from me and now I get to see it all the time when she wears her babies to church.

I would love to know if you purchase anything from these companies because of my recommendation! Comment below or send me a message on social media. To see more from this newborn session, head to Newborn Session with Boys.
