Earlier this month my family hosted a small, outdoor woodland themed baby shower for my sister and her son. The weather was beautiful, and we were able to host it out on my mom’s back porch and patio. We decided to host it mid morning for brunch. There were mimosas, a waffle bar, a yogurt parfait bar, sausages and sweets to go with coffee. It was intimate, but such a blessing to my sister as she begins her motherhood journey with Fowler.
The Details of Woodland Themed Baby Shower
We kept the decor for this woodland themed baby shower simple but cute. We used bamboo plates, tree trunk slices to elevate things, brown bottles with fresh florals, small stuffed woodland animals, and little cupcake toppers in the carrot cake. It doesn’t take much to make a gathering memorable and fun! Also my mom makes goat soap with her neighbor as a hobby and gifted each guest a bar of her soap with the words, “From Baby Fowler’s shower to yours. Thanks for coming!” on each one.
One entertaining hack I have for you is to invest in at least two painter’s drop cloths to use as table cloths for events like this. They elevate the look of a table very easily and wash up so nicely! You can find these at your local Lowes or Home Depot.
To see another event I’ve hosted in the past, you can head to Fall Dinner Party.
