It’s always a true honor when I receive an inquiry from another photographer for a session. You know they have done their homework and are all in when they book with you. But there is always the question as the photographer they hire of, “Can I live up to their expectations?”
Well let’s just say Sherri was truly the easiest, sweetest soul to photograph! We hit it off immediately! She is so warm, bubbly and fun. Her hubby, Matt, was also more than willing to pose however I asked him to that day. Chandler, their Yorkie Poo, was probably the easiest dog I’ve ever had at a session. So cute!!
The original plan was to photograph this session by a lake, but a recent snowstorm changed those plans. Sherri wanted a light, airy look to her photos, not drab looking as winters usually go. The snow actually helped achieve this look. It brightened everything up! It’s not very often that I get to photograph in the snow, so this was fun for me.
I truly cannot wait to photograph this sweet couple and their baby boy when he arrives next month! The beauty of doing both a maternity session and newborn session with me is that I get to get to know you as the momma before you welcome your sweet baby and your whole life changes. You can get comfortable with me and learn my personality and photography style. I highly recommend booking both of these sessions and capturing those once in a lifetime moments!
