Spring and summer are my favorite times to photograph a newborn session outside! The grass is green, the flowers are blooming, the air is warmer and all of nature compliments the beauty of new motherhood. If you’ve been around here for any length of time, you know that I love photographing in a flower garden.
When this mama asked me to have her newborn session in a flower garden, I was so excited the photograph it! Generally I will say sometimes it takes a bit of soothing to get baby to relax outdoors the same way as in an in-home session, but it can be done. You just have to ensure that they are comfortable and swaddled well. Don’t shy away from having your newborn session outdoors because you aren’t sure how it will work. I’m here to work with you every step of the way!
Newborn Session Details
I have a laidback, but elevated approach to a newborn session. As the photographer, I come to your home and capture you with your new baby and family in the comfort of your space. If the weather permits, another option is that we can also photograph your newborn in the beautiful outdoors. Usually the best time to take newborn photos is in the first 2 weeks of life, but honestly they can be done at anytime. I want to make sure you as the mama feel your best for the session.
