Newborn Session
Being the Chester County PA Newborn Photographer for this session was such an honor! I count each session I shoot as an honor, but this one holds a special place in my heart. Kim had reached out to me with some questions in pregnancy. So throughout the rest of her pregnancy I prayed for her and her baby. I checked in every once in a while to see how things were progressing for her. Being a mama who has gone through high risk pregnancies myself, God has given me a heart for other mamas going through a similar journey. When I was then asked to be the newborn photographer for this baby, it felt like such a full circle moment!
Sweet Brooks was born perfectly healthy a few weeks before his due date. Everything about him is just so darling! He is so loved and welcomed by his parents and older sisters.
Wardrobe
Kim coordinated her family’s outfits so beautifully for this session! They all blended so well with the aesthetic of their house as well. Her white dress is from Roolee. This dress worked so well for a mama postpartum and even has buttons for nursing.
Hand-Painted Styling Mat
I had the honor of collaborating with April of April Raymond Photography to use one of her beautifully hand painted styling mats during this session as well. I’ve always wanted to up-level my images of newborns and of newborn products with a styling mat. This was the perfect opportunity to do just that!
