This Spritzer Recipe has been a favorite around here lately with the warmer temps! I love celebrations, parties and gathering with family and friends. This is the perfect recipe to add to a birthday party, shower or just a fun supper with your little family.
Earlier this winter I was at a wedding that had a simple Spritzer Bar. Just a punch dispenser with some add-ins. This gave me the idea to have one for my sister’s Bridal Shower. I wanted to take it up a notch though and make spritzers more like what I love from a local restaurant. It took some trial and error to figure out what tasted good, but my family didn’t mind being my taste testers. 😉
I started with a simple syrup as a base. You can find so many recipes for all different flavors of simple syrups on Pinterest. I found this Raspberry Simple Syrup for one flavor and then adapted it with strawberries for another flavor. You could make any kind of fruit simple syrup… strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, peach… the list could go on.
Spritzer Recipe
3 TBSP – 1/4 cup Simple Syrup of your choice (depends on how big your glass is and how sweet you want it to be)
Pour this syrup into an 8 oz. glass of your choice.
Add a few ice cubes
Top with Sparkling Water, Le Croix, or fizzy, flavored water of your choice
Throw in some add-ins like berries, a lemon slice, mint leaves, basil leaves, peach slices, etc.
Use a straw or spoon to stir it all together
Enjoy with family and friends!
