Lancaster Photography Workshop

It’s hard to believe that I’ve co-taught 5 workshops with Diane from Di Images! This one was from last summer and I never got around to blogging it.

Each workshop has been wonderful, unique and special in it’s own way. No two workshops have been alike. Every workshop has been at a different location, had different models and new attendees. These workshops have been designed for those who want to learn more on how to use their camera in manual mode to take solid photos. So often women have these awesome cameras, but they don’t know how to use them and what the different buttons or modes mean. We try to take the guess work out by teaching them how to use those modes, buttons and dials and make them work together.

This last workshop was held at the beautiful white room in Hingework in Lancaster, PA. I have held a few events in this space, for both business and personal. Each time I fall in love with it all over again! I have to say I think this has been my favorite workshop yet! The florals by Thistle Do Flower Co, the lovely models, the attendees, the macarons by Tara’s Treats and working alongside Diane…. these all came together to create a really epic workshop. I’m just going to let the photos speak for themselves.

But before I do, I want to say that we don’t have any more of these workshops planned for the future. However, both Diane and myself offer mentor sessions one on one. The mentor sessions with me give me the chance to spend spend time addressing things you want to learn. It can be how to use your camera, editing techniques, photo storage, how to shoot in different light situations, how I prep for a newborn session or how I deliver images. The skies the limit with what you can ask me. I love to share what I’ve been taught by many other professionals. Feel free to reach out if you would like more info on a mentor session.
