A Simple Tip for Expecting Mothers

I know for most mamas that the process of choosing what to wear for photo sessions stresses them out. I have a simple tip for expecting mothers that is brilliant and even gives them an advantage when they are postpartum. I had a client do this exact thing recently and it’s so ingenious!

I met Abby at her maternity session this summer at Longwood Gardens. She was wearing a lovely, simple white dress from Nothing Fits But. As we headed back to our cars at the end of the session, we began to discuss her upcoming newborn session in a few months. She mentioned that she is planning to probably wear the same dress for her newborn session. Ding, ding, ding! What a smart idea! I had never thought of encouraging mothers to do this.

If you are expecting a baby soon, you may want to try this simple tip. Find a forgiving dress to wear both with a bump and later after baby is born. Make sure it has room in the bust and the waist for changes in your body.

I offer a maternity and newborn session collection to expecting mothers at a discount. This gives me a chance to get to know you before baby comes and document your pregnancy. Then we can be in touch when your baby arrives to set up your newborn session. Contact me HERE to get more information. You can read When To Book Newborn Photos to learn how soon to contact me when you are pregnant. I can’t wait to see how you use this simple tip for expecting mothers!
