It was a pure joy to meet this sweet little family and their newest addition! Not only did I get to meet Mom, Dad and Big Sister, but also Grandma all the way from Guatemala! She had just flown in to meet her newest granddaughter. It makes my heart skip a beat to see multiple generations of mommas and their daughters together. There is strength and wisdom that comes from learning from those who mothered before us. I love the image above for all it conveys about mothers and daughters and the love across the generations. We as a younger generation need the wisdom from our moms that comes with their experience.
Dorothy’s big sister was so excited for photos! She willingly let me test my light and settings on her. I’m always more than happy to give the mommas from my newborn sessions more than just photos of the baby. I try to throw in a few of the big siblings too when I can. I love this big sister’s curls and contagious smile!
